Hiked with Matt for a few hrs this morning. He and Blues Traveler started the AT the same day and have pretty much been hiking together the whole time. It really makes the miles fly by sometimes when you are talking to someone while you are hiking. Stopped at Little Laurel Shelter for lunch then decided to take a nap till 3pm. The rest of the day was pretty cool, hiking on a rocky ridgeline with some cliff overlooks that were really picturesque. I love hiking on those narrow ridges where you have great views to the east and west. Hiked with Freebird (dark hair) for awhile. We've been on a pretty similar pace since getting out of the Smoky Mountains.
