Got up and hiked for awhile today, finally making it to Beauty Spot, which was nice, but would have been alot prettier if the fog was not consuming everything to the west. Ran into Freebird (blonde) who had passed me this morning while I was packing up. We hiked together most of the day, making a stop at Cherry Gap Shelter to eat lunch and decide where to camp. We decided to go to the hostel, its only $8 for a bunk here, so not a bad deal, especially with this off and on rain, the trail has gotten really muddy and slippery the last couple days. Interesting hostel, kind of out in the middle of no-where. Had to hike a 1/2 mile off the trail to get here, but its run by a very friendly lady named Connie who is cooking for us at the moment. There aren't any bunks left for me, but she said she is gonna try to make some space somewhere for me, which I'm happy about, don't really feel like setting up a wet tent right now.. ;)
