(Gives you an idea of what the campsite looked like, below is everyone sitting around waitin for breakfast.)
Great morning to just hang around. Scattered clouds and occasional breezes really made it the perfect temperature. Luscious made an awesome hash w/ roast beef, potatoes and veggies in the dutch oven, and Baltimore Jack made 3 huge batches of eggs scrambled w/peppers, sausage
and lots of cheese. Sat around until noon (had to stay for seconds of course), then said my thank yous to the organizers and Jack. I made good time to the Seeley-Woodworth Shelter for lunch, then afterward just had no energy.
Came across this tree growing on top of a boulder, it was hard to get a good picture of, but its was impressive how tall it was considering the whole root structure was above ground.
Climbed up to Spy Rock to check out the view, pretty cool spot. My action shot:
Got water at the Priest Shelter then went and found Dragonbreath and Nature about .2 farther up the trail. They found the good tenting spots near the cliffs of the priest, so I left my pack and went back to the Shelter to tell Gorgonzola and Denali to come up there. Antrack came along too. We had an amazing spot on the rocks to watch the sunset.
