Everyone except me and Ziggy left at 9:30am when the store owner gave them a ride back to the trail. The sun had come out and we wanted our stuff to dry fully, and I was just not feeling like being in a hurry. Ziggy and I talked and hung out till around noon, Freebird (dark hair) and this girl called the Bird showed up, as well as Skipping Stones, Puddle Jumper and Wispy. By the time we got back on the trail it was 1pm. Today we hiked up to one of the most photographed spots on the trail, McAfee Knob, it was amazing. Considered to be one of the best views in Virginia. The Tinker Cliffs were awesome too. Me and Ziggy hiked together all day, and eventually got to the campsite where Dragonbreath was. This group of us: Dragonbreath, Chick Magnet, Bojangles, Phyllis and Nature have been at the same campsites for the last couple days so its kinda cool to keep having folks you know around. This has been one of my new favorite days, great weather, amazing views, good company and to end it a tentsite near a creek with sounds of water all night..
